Privacy Policy

Last updated July 27, 2026

This policy explains how I handle information for my personal site, the Waypoint waitlist, and the Waypoint iOS app. I’m Daniel Gorban. You can reach me at daniel@gorban.org.

What this covers

  • This website (including the Waypoint product page)
  • The Waypoint waitlist signup form
  • The Waypoint iOS app

Website

The site itself does not ask you to create an account. I do not run advertising on these pages.

Like most websites, the host that serves these pages may keep basic server logs (for example IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability. I do not use those logs to build marketing profiles.

Waitlist

If you join the Waypoint waitlist, you provide an email address. I use that email only to send launch or TestFlight updates about Waypoint. I do not sell it, and I do not use it for unrelated newsletters.

You can ask to be removed anytime by emailing daniel@gorban.org.

Waypoint app

Waypoint is built so your trip plans stay on your device. You do not need an account to start using the app. Trip data you enter (such as flights, stays, notes, and times) is stored locally on your iPhone.

I do not sell your travel data. The app is not designed to track you across other apps or websites for advertising.

If future versions add optional sync, accounts, or other features that change how data is handled, this policy will be updated before those features ship.

Contact email

If you email me, I keep the message and your address long enough to reply and follow up. I do not add contact emails to the waitlist unless you ask.

Changes

I may update this policy as the site or app changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when that happens.
